Stockholm Sneakers TOKU - Grey
Stockholm Sneakers TOKU - Grey
TOKU Stockholm sneakers are thoughtfully crafted by designer Piibe Tomp and handmade in Estonia. These sustainable, machine-washable high-tops keep a clean, classic silhouette while adding a subtle signature TOKU touch. Whether you take them to a muddy festival or out on a rainy forest trail, they’re built to handle it. Simply remove the laces, brush off any heavy dirt, place both the sneakers and laces into the laundry bag included with your purchase, and wash. This is our most durable and environmentally conscious sneaker yet – produced without a shoe box, made entirely from European materials, and finished with natural rubber soles.
TOWARD A CLEANER FUTURE
We prioritize high-quality materials, responsible production, and local craftsmanship, allowing us to keep our environmental footprint small. We work only with partners who share our values. Instead of traditional cardboard packaging, every pair of TOKU sneakers arrives in a reusable, washable shoe bag. Each year, we also plant around 2,000 trees to help restore and protect Estonia’s natural landscapes. Reforesting allows us to stay connected to our heritage and safeguard the nature that inspires us.
LEATHER
All leather details come from European farms and are processed in Italy. This special leather is designed to be machine washable.
TEXTILES
Half of the energy used to produce the fabric comes from renewable solar power. The outer fabric is made of 70% cotton and 30% polyester, while the lining is crafted from 100% recycled PET.
INSOLE
Our insoles use breathable microfiber layered over activated charcoal and natural cork. This combination adds comfort, keeps feet dry, and reduces unwanted odors.
SOLE
The soles are crafted from 100% natural latex rubber derived from hevea tree milk. The latex is collected in Malaysia, Indonesia, and Vietnam and then processed in France to create the LACTAE HEVEA® sole.
Every pair of TOKU shoes is handcrafted in southern Estonia by a family-owned company with a shoemaking legacy dating back to 1927. They embrace the principles of slow fashion by using natural, long-lasting materials and creating timeless styles designed to accompany you for many years.
